Caring for your candle helps it burn more evenly, last longer, and make the most of its fragrance. Here are some tips for candle care:

1. Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to about 5mm. This helps prevent the candle from flickering and reduces soot buildup, which can affect the candle's burn time and scent.

2. Allow the Wax to Pool: Let the candle burn long enough for the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar. This helps prevent tunneling, where the candle burns down the center, leaving wax on the edges.

3. Avoid Drafts: Keep the candle away from drafts or windy areas. A draft can cause uneven burning or cause the flame to flicker too much.

4. Don’t Burn Too Long: For safety and optimal performance, burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. This prevents the wick from becoming too long or the container from getting too hot.

5. Store Properly: When not in use, store your candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. This helps preserve the fragrance and color of the wax.

6. Extinguish Safely: If using a snuffer or dipping the wick in the wax to extinguish, be sure to avoid blowing out the candle, as this can cause wax to splatter or create a mess.
